Pixel Track Shake Reduction mode reduces camera shake and blurring of the subject when photographing still images, as well as ensuring sharp images even in challenging lighting conditions, without adding any high ISO noise.
High-Sensitivity SR mode reduces the effect of camera shake and blurring of the subject when photographing still images in low-light conditions. The sensitivity is adjusted automatically, to as high as the ultrahigh sensitivity of ISO 6400, to match the brightness of the subjects
When the High-Sensitivity SR mode is selected, the recorded size is fixed to 5M (2592 x 1944 pixels).
Movie SR mode prevents blurry images during movie shooting by effectively minimizing annoying camera shake through the use of exclusive software.
When the Movie SR mode is selected, the angle of view becomes narrower than normal shooting.
• Auto Picture mode lets the camera automatically determine the shooting conditions for a total of 8 scenes (Landscape, Portrait, Night Scene, Night Scene Portrait, Flower, Sport, Candlelight and Standard modes) and chooses the optimum settings for each.
• Vertical Snap mode provides the ease of cell phone-camera picture taking with the quality of the latest PENTAX Optios by using the OK button to snap shots and the 4-way controller to adjust zoom.
• A variety of digital filters, including Toy Camera are available to add distinctive visual effects to recorded images.
• D-Range setting improves images by adjusting both the highlight and shadow areas of the picture for optimum image quality.
• Digital wide function merges two shots into one image for ultra-wide-angle expressions equivalent to a focal length of approx. 20 mm in 35mm format, ideal for use by realtors on the MLS system.
• Frame composite function (with 90 frames stored in the camera) allows you to shoot pictures with decorative photo frames.
• The image recovery function allows you to recover accidentally erased images.
• ACDSee for PENTAX 3.0 image viewing, editing and filing software (compatible with Windows Vista™) and ACDSee 2.0 for Mac image viewing/managing software are both included.
